Most people have numerous general misconceptions and ambiguous presumptions about resurrection. They imagine that death is the end of everything, and that resurrection starts a new creation from nothing, just as the first creation was started.
Al-Ba’ith resurrects those in the graves, stirs things into motion, causes determination, manifests the knowledge of the unknown, brings His servants back to life, and resurrects His creation on the Day of Judgment.
He records what the breasts conceal. Ba’th is the life hereafter.
This quality/attribute of Allah describes how He will resurrect us from the dead. A final rebirth. He will awaken the dead and infuse them with a new life. It is written by Sheikh Tosun in his book, “He will raise people from their graves and bring out all the actions, thoughts, and feelings that occurred during their lifetime on this earth.”
أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَلَمۡ يَعۡيَ بِخَلۡقِهِنَّ بِقَٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يُحۡـِۧيَ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰۚ بَلَىٰٓۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٞ
Awalam yaraw annal laahal lazee khalaqas samaawaati wal arda wa lam ya’ya bikhal qihinna biqaadirin ‘alaaa aiyuhyiyal mawtaa; balaaa innahoo ‘alaa kulli shai’in Qadeer
The Holy Quran (46.33)
“Do they not see that Allah, who created the heavens and earth and did not fail in their creation, is able to give life to the dead? Yes. Indeed, He is over all things competent.”
وَأَنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ ءَاتِيَةٞ لَّا رَيۡبَ فِيهَا وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَبۡعَثُ مَن فِي ٱلۡقُبُورِ
Wa annas Saa’ata aatiya tul laa raiba feeha wa annal laaha yab’asuman fil quboor
The Holy Quran (22:7)
” And [that they may know] that the Hour is coming – no doubt about it – and that Allah will resurrect those in the graves.”
The name ”al-Ba’ith” conveys more than one meaning:
- 1. The Almighty will bring His creation back to life on the Day of Judgment as stated in Surah al-Hajj quoted above.
- 2. He sends messengers to His servants: In Surah an-Nahl (Bees), He says, “And certainly We raised in every nation a prophet” (Qur’an, 16.36)
- 3. He commissions His servants to perform specific tasks by creating the impulses and motivations in them.
- 4. He sends aid to His servants who need it and helps the sinners by accepting their repentance.
أَوَمَن كَانَ مَيْتًۭا فَأَحْيَيْنَـٰهُ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُۥ نُورًۭا يَمْشِى بِهِۦ فِى ٱلنَّاسِ كَمَن مَّثَلُهُفِى ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ لَيْسَ بِخَارِجٍۢ مِّنْهَا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِلْكَـٰفِرِينَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَۥ
“Is he who was dead then We brought him back to life and made for him a light whereby he walks among people like one who is in utter darkness from which he can never come forth? Thus what they did was made fair-seeming to the unbelievers”
The Holy Quran (6:122)
“O mankind! if ye have a doubt about THE RESURRECTION, (consider) that We created you out of dust, then out of sperm, then out of a leech-like clot, then out of a morsel of flesh, partly formed and partly unformed, in order that We may manifest (Our Power) to you; and We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term, then do We bring you out as babes, then (foster you) that ye may reach your age of full strength; and some of you are called to die, and some are sent back to the feeblest old age, so that they know nothing after having known (much). And (further), thou seest the earth barren and lifeless, but when We pour down rain on it, it is stirred (to life), it swells, and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth in pairs.”
The Holy Quran (22:5)
“And [that they may know] that the Hour is coming – no doubt about it – and that Allah will resurrect [yab`ath] those in the graves.”
The Holy Quran (22:7)
“Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?”
The Holy Quran (23:115)
“Do they not see that Allah, who created the heavens and earth and did not fail in their creation, is able to give life to the dead? Yes. Indeed, He is over all things competent.”
