He is invisible and there is no similarity between Him and His creatures.
The One Who has obscured Himself from all creation by His light, Who is Hidden from them because of the intensity of His appearance.
That is Allah, your Lord! There is no god but He, the Creator of all things; then worship ye Him; and He hath power to dispose of all affairs. NO VISION CAN GRASP HIM. But His grasp is over all vision: He is above all comprehension, yet is acquainted with all things. “How have come to you, from your Lord, proofs (to open your eyes): IF ANY WILL SEE, IT WILL BE FOR (THE GOOD OF) HIS OWN SOUL; IF ANY WILL BE BLIND, IT WILL BE TO HIS OWN (HARM): I am not (here) to watch over your doings.”
The Holy Quran (6:102…104)

SAHIH INTERNATIONAL:
“He is the First and the Last, the Ascendant and the Intimate, and He is, of all things, Knowing.”
He is immaterial, not a thing, a matter; none can truly define Him through our limited human vocabulary and capacity.
Imam Ghazali
If you need to “see it to believe it,” you will surely miss Him. But if you find the ways in which He manifests Himself through the Prophets (may peace be upon them), His books, religion, power, knowledge, and all the ways He’s supplied blessings for you, you will surely find Him. Allah is “hidden when He is sought by sensory perception or using the resources of imagination, yet manifest when sought
He is the First and the Last, the Ascendant and the Intimate, and He is, of all things, Knowing.
